Duffy books

                   

Today I got my duffy book and it’s called Anh do hot dog tidy time.

 

This book is about a guy named  hot dog and his friends who tidy up for their annual tidy your town day. Whoever collects the most rubbish will win an amazing jungle adventure but their rubbish they collected got stolen and are searching for it. Will they find it in time before time runs out?

 

Believing myself

Sometimes when you don’t believe in yourself  or don’t feel brave, but sometimes you need to really need to be brave like me and a story that has happened to me to know what happened keep reading.

 

So, one time I went up north for my grandma’s unveiling and at the time it was summer and everyone was hot so we went to the beach.  When we were at the beach all the adults made the little kids put on floaties but I didn’t want to because I knew how to swim and I was playing in the water with my siblings and my cousins and we were trying to jump over the waves but then an arm came and grabbed me and I was drowning but it was my cousin and we were drowning but I was trying to pull us back to the sand but my cousin pulled me down but my aunty came and growled her so now we are careful when swimming.

Musical Noises

 

                                                                                Music is so amazing!

 

Today there was a man called musical ell that came over and showed us a few of his instruments like clarinets, flutes and many more. Like with rocks tape and a  toilet roll .

 

First, he sang a song and asked if we could sing with him so we did and it was so funny when some of the kids went up and made funny faces and when they were standing like a duck.

 

Next, He told a few of the seniors to hold some instruments that were called woodwind instruments in the olden days.and there were many more instruments that he told them to play.

 

Then he asked room 10 and 9 who wanted to play so I put my hand up. Once we had a good amount of people to come up we played a song and then sat down.

 

Finally he showed us how he would play at a junction and sang a song after playing his trumpet and trombone for us.

 

After that I wanted to be a musician and play all night long, But  I wonder if there are any more instruments that I haven’t heard or seen before. What is your favourite instrument?

Hockey monday

 

                                 

Yesterday we went to hockey and It was so much fun dribbling the ball and playing the game.

 

First, the coach introduced himself as Jake and said that we were going to do a warm up.

 

Next,we were doing our warm up, then we were all racing trying to win and I wanted to get water so I ran quickly.

 

Then when I came back we were learning how to dribble the ball and I was partnered with my friends Kalisi and Bekah but then my friend Louis was crying because My friend Skylar hit her in the eye with the hockey stick by accident.

 

Finally,we had our last activity and then we discussed our favourite thing that we did and we left.

 

After that we had to go because it was raining but I still enjoyed it I like hockey it’s fun and I hope to learn new things next time.
